Love in Every Corner

Hello! I’m so glad you found me in this big world of the internet. I’m Sheila and I have finished homeschooling my children and am now free to some well deserved me time.

Since I studied creative writing in college, I decided to start this blog and share the things I picked up over the years while trying to make my home a well running domestic machine. Now, as my family can attest to, it didn’t and still doesn’t run exactly how I imagine it to, but I try.

I often have to remind myself that I am only human, and though I strive for joy and happiness through having a clean, well organized house, it doesn’t come from perfection. Therefore, I have to give myself a break when my dinner of broiled lobster tails end up being rescued from being overcooked and turned into fish soup. No big deal… how many people get to dine on homemade gourmet lobster bisque? It’s all how you look at it.

And… that philosophy is what this blog is all about. Here you can learn new skills, strategies, techniques and many other helpful ideas to provide you the means to STRIVE for your own domestic tranquility.

Thanks for dropping by and please signup up with your email so you can be notified with every new blog post. I’m looking forward in you joining me in this homemaking journey where love can be found in every corner.
